Jamestown Pathways of Discovery

Designed to allow visitors to gain insight into the overall exhibits in the Powhatan Indian Village. Connecting pathways allow visitors in and around the riverfront interpretive areas. Boardwalk and path system will be handicap accessible and meet UFAS/ADA requirements.

This project, entitled “The Pathways of Discovery”, is composed of Civil Site and Drainage Improvements, including stormwater management for the entire site and drainage improvements to the James Fort and The Indian Village.

A “Boardwalk” has been designed, allowing visitors to gain insight into the overall exhibits in the Powhatan Indian Village. In addition, new pathways have been created allowing visitors in and around the riverfront interpretive areas.
