FRANKLIN RECREATION CENTER

The City of Franklin Community Recreation Center is a one-story building which will provide community recreation spaces, a multi-purpose gymnasium with basketball court, locker facilities, office space for Parks and Recreation staff as well as mechanical space.

Spaces include:

• Core Lobby Spaces includes the Lobby, Control Desk/Receptionist and Vestibule to accommodate welcoming the community into the building and providing visual control and security for the building entrance.
• A Computer Niche, Public Restrooms and a Vending area are also included as amenities for the community
  Gymnasium & Active Recreation including a Multi-Purpose Gym with a Basketball Court will be provided to accommodate basketball and volleyball for the community. Paul D. Camp Community College has expressed interest in using the Community Recreation Center for their team practices and events.
• Locker Facilities
• Office & Support Spaces including an office for the Director, two non-assigned Offices, a Workroom, a Staff Break Room with lockers, and a Conference Room.
• Back of House Support including support space for the rest of the building including an office for the Building Engineer, Maintenance/Receiving space, Custodial space with storage, and a Laundry Room.
