Armed Services YMCA Child Development Center

This project is a Child Development Center run by the Armed Services YMCA. It was a renovation from an existing office building into an institutional type I-4 occupancy. This involved upgrades not only to meet accessibility and egress requirements, but also HVAC upgrades to meet the increased outside air needs. This project was required to meet all the Virginia Childcare Regulations along with Unified Facilities Criteria for Navy and Marine Corps Child Development Centers and ultimately be approved by the Department of Defense.
