Bruce Prichard (Principal Emeritus)

“Architecture has been my dream job for my entire life. I get to help create spaces that people will use and enjoy, and that will contribute to the beauty and well-being of the community at large.“

Mr. Prichard serves as Principal In Charge for HBA’s corporate facilities and interiors projects. His experience in providing project management services is built upon a broad understanding of design, scheduling, construction, furniture installation, telecom, cost control and logistics. His clients have included many of the region’s major financial institutions, legal offices, corporations, and other agencies, such as Norfolk Southern Corporation, The Harbor Group, Williams Mullen, Maersk Line, Kaufman & Canoles, TowneBank and CMA / CGM The French Line.

When not in Virginia Beach, you'll probably find Bruce in Blacksburg. Splitting his time gives him access to both the sand, sun and warmth of the bay and the glory of the Blue Ridge mountains.

Bruce is a season ticket holder for both basketball and football at Virginia Tech – Go Hokies! – and loves cheering his team on. He also has had the privilege of giving back to Virginia Tech by serving on the Advisory Boards for the Architecture Program, the School of Architecture + Design and on the Dean’s Board for the College of Architecture and Urban Studies, as well as representing CAUS on the Campaign Committee for the University.
