HBA Welcomes back Nash Euman as a Summer Intern

Nash was with us last summer. He is now 6 inches taller and a rising 12th grade student at Landstown High school Governor’s STEM Academy in Virginia Beach.

He was offered his internship opportunity, to experience real world architecture, after Chris Ames visited his architecture class to help with the Young Designers Competition (remember this post).  He says he enjoyed working on actual projects and having his own cork board. Generally speaking, he says that he learned that architecture is a lot more technical than he originally thought it was.

While he was with us last summer, he decided to alter his desk to allow himself to stand while he works. He said it was to avoid loosing leg strength (he is co-captain on the cross-country team.)

Besides designing buildings and running, he also likes to learn more about history, and study the rise of great people in history. His goal is to be a house designer for millionaires.

We look forward to having him back this summer.
