HBA welcomes our 2017 Summer Intern!

HBA is pleased to announce the addition of Iroda Karimova to the staff for the summer as an intern.

Iroda is a recent graduate of Hampton University with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. She earned an Associate’s Degree from TCC in Virginia Beach, and has studied abroad in France.  Besides architecture she also enjoys painting nature and still life in watercolor and hand sketching urban squares, architecture and people.

Iroda is from Uzbekistan and has traveled quite a bit around the United States. She has lived in Hampton Roads for 9 years, and believes that Virginia Beach is the best place to live in United States. Now, her passion is contributing to the development of local Hampton Roads’ community with architectural and urban design. During weekends, she loves exploring the local area and swimming at the beach.
