Portsmouth, VA- On Saturday, October 26th, 2013 from 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., the Portsmouth Museums are celebrating Halloween with a variety of frightfully fun activities, including a tour of a haunted ship! Join the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum for activities and crafts, including luminaries and spyglasses as well as some pirate themed activities. Enjoy ghost stories and the eerie sounds of maritime folk tales and local shipwrecks. Finally, the Lightship PORTSMOUTH will be transformed into the “Frightship!” Board this haunted vessel to meet the “Ghost Guard” and fend off the local pirates.
