Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Memorial Dedication

On Saturday, June 23rd, at 1:00 PM, a dedication ceremony will be held for the Virginia Beach Police Foundation Law Enforcement Memorial at 35th Street and the Boardwalk.  The Law Enforcement Memorial recognizes and honors members of the Virginia Beach Police Department, the Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office, and other state and federal agencies that keep our community safe.

The memorial’s three bronze statues, designed by Paul DiPasquale (artist of the King Neptune statue at the oceanfront), reach down to lend a helping hand from a granite pedestal on which the names of fallen officers are inscribed.  The public is invited and encouraged to attend this brief cermony.  HBA is working on a similar project, and we welcome the opportunity to show both our support for the brave men and women who work every day to protect us, and our immense gratitude for the sacrifices of the fallen officers.
